Liked:Beautiful ryokan with lovely comfortable rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were amazing, we stayed for 2 nights and each was different and tasty. The onsen is well equipped, and location convenient.

Disliked:Nothing

Attentive staff, comfortable baths and larger than expected rooms.

Liked:Friendly front house staff and took time to explain a lot of details. Rotenburo and the hinoki soaking tub were really nice

Disliked:Needs better room explanations in the listing. It was very large and I understood better why the cost was high. Would also like to see the booking.com include the chance to include dinner

Perfect rural ryokan stay.

Liked:Very traditional ryokan. The staff was amazing and kind. The location was rural but there was still food. In retrospect, I would've booked the room that comes with a meal delivered to our room. But we went out and got a very great feel for the town and ate at a place that was very authentic.

Disliked:I liked everything about it. There were some cobwebs in the bathroom and some old features but they didn't take away from my love of this stay.

One of my best stays in Japan

Liked:It’s a dreamy place. The staff were really nice, everything was spotless, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen was stunning. I would highly recommend staying here. They also offer dinner, but you have to book it at least 3 days in advance.
