A Wonderful, Peaceful Getaway

Liked:I had a wonderful stay at Leland's Lake House! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, exceptionally quiet, and very clean. It has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, including Wi-Fi and a lovely hot tub, which I made sure to enjoy every single day. Although I spent much of my trip exploring the surrounding areas, the cabin was the perfect home base to return to after a day of adventures. It's also a wonderful place to simply stay in, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. One thing I particularly appreciate is the idea of supporting local communities through tourism. I recall reading that the property works with local people for cleaning and maintenance, and if that's the case, I think it's a wonderful initiative. Supporting local jobs and contributing to the local economy makes a travel experience even more meaningful to me. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would happily recommend Leland's Lake House!

Disliked:The only minor inconvenience was that I couldn't quite figure out how to adjust the heating for a little extra warmth overnight. I may have simply overlooked the controls, so clearer instructions would have been helpful. Nothing that took away from an otherwise wonderful stay!

Wonderful little get away cottage on the lake.

Liked:Wonderful little get away by the lake. Very clean. Reminded us of a cottage on Sullivan's Crossing. Hot tub was a bonus.

Disliked:Bed and pull out couch was not the most comfortable. Not a complaint-everyone likes different levels of softness to their beds.

It was clean and had everything we needed. But a small about of repairs and a new sofa would go a long way.

Liked:The location - nice lake, quiet.

Disliked:The bed and sofa is hard. The fire pit is rusted out. 100% The paddle boat is full of water and unusable, there’s a canoe with plants growing in it… The cover to the hot tub is broken and water logged. Which leaves tiny pieces of styrofoam in the water.
