Inexcusable service for a hotel, especially one trying to position itself as a business hotel

Liked:Upon check-in, I asked for daily maid service. We stayed 4 nights and only had cleaning once. Totally inexcusable. I even mentioned it to the front desk more than once. Also, every business hotel these days has a safe in the room. Every one but this place. I didn't expect to have to carry my laptop everywhere, and for these reasons I do not recommend staying here. WiFi also did not work well. I had a lot of trouble working while I was there and had to use my phone's personal hotspot. When I got to my next location, I didn't have any of that trouble. It is the most expensive Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at, and they jack up rates during a conference at the nearby Suburban Collection Showplace (the reason we were there). It's well located with plenty of good restaurants nearby and near the Expo center, but so are half a dozen other places. Normal room rate is about $120. They jack it up to $260 something during a conference, with the special conference block being $219. Taking advantage? Providing proper service for those rates? Nope.

Liked:stayed for my son's baseball tournament. no fuss stay. we were only there to use it to rest because most of the time we were out in the field for games. offers free breakfast & free parking we were able to use the pool due to our busy schedule a few minutes drive to Aldi for grocery. there is a gas station nearby which my son and his teammates walked to buy candies.
