Disappointing to be disregarded

Liked:This is actually the first negative review I’ve ever posted, and notably our first bad experience at a Marriott-owned hotel. We have consistently had positive stays in the past, which is why this was especially disappointing. However, after being disregarded in person, over the phone, and now by email, I feel it’s important to share this experience. We booked a room for five people based on the listing, but it only had two beds and no additional sleeping arrangements. When we raised this immediately upon entering the room, management’s response was dismissive and essentially shifted the responsibility back to us for booking the room, rather than addressing the issue. Beyond that, the room was not properly cleaned (wrappers on the floor), and there were only enough towels for three guests. We brought these concerns up right away and followed up by phone, but nothing was done to resolve them. The most disappointing part was not just the room—it was the lack of accountability and how our concerns were handled at every step. As a frequent Marriott guest, I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to better communication and guest service moving forward.
