The room was nice, the river view was lovely. Assume they will upgrade plumbing

Liked:The room scheduled for us had plumbing problems so they moved us to another. The second room had no hot water. The proprieter offered us a refund for both issues. It offered a river view and that was lovely. There were some very noisy patrons and as a light sleeper that was an issue and we were given another refund so they really tried to make up for the deficiencies.

Disliked:The inconsiderate patrons talking loudly after midnight. they should post signs for quite hours.

Disgusting

Liked:I would love to tell you what I like about this hotel but there was nothing. The reviews made this hotel look nice & said how clean & great this place was. None of it was true. When we walked in it looked good - but then you saw the gross parts.

Disliked:Where do I start. The room was disgusting. There was filth everywhere, especially in the bathroom. The small sink has an old cupboard under it that sits directly in front of the toilet. When you sit you see blood or poop smeared (like it was on a finger). Even my husband refused to shower in the unit because not only was it small, it was dirty- the shower floor was black & there was mold throughout it (& the bathroom). I rate this room a ZERO for accessibility. If nothing else for the 2 foot opening you have to pass between the sink & shower stall to get to the toilet. If you are large or have accessibility issues you will NOT FIT. The shower is so small that a normal sized person couldn't shower without touching at least one wall. I am not overweight but I do have some accessibility issues. This room boasts a water view. If you walk up to the back of the room on the way to the bathroom, then walk up to the high window up you can see the Connecticut River. That's NOT a room with a view. There were ant traps on the floor & we found some dead bugs on the desk (no bedbugs though!). The remote was sticky - like it has never been washed. We left the tv on where it was all night so we didn't have to touch it. This room was expensive, had no amenities, was filthy, the continental breakfast was gross (we didn't bother to eat it). What we didn't realize is that it is not so far from Dartmouth College, which is probably how they get away with $200 a night. Stay away, far away.
