I really enjoyed my stay in the Carathotel, thank you reception team!

Liked:I got checked to the superior room which was really big, I love it. I spoke like with 3 members of staff durnig my stay and they all were super lovely. Beds are super comfy, bathroom was nice retro style. Very nice breakfast. I love it all. I enjoyed sauna which I didn't know they had as I booked my room 30 min before arrival.

Liked:I stayed at the hotel on September 6th, and was greeted at the counter by a friendly and courteous staff who made check-in comfortable and easy. I arrived well after 23:00 hours, and despite a late arrival, the bar tender still allowed me to order a drink, despite already being beyond service time.

Disliked:I have to admit, I was ready to give the hotel an very positive review, a 5 in all categories, except for what happened after check-out. I had forgotten my toiletries bag in the hotel room, and received an email from the front desk alerting me to the fact that the bag was left behind. The email asked for mailing details, which I provided. By the end of the week, as I heard nothing from the hotel, nor did I receive the bag in the mail, I called the hotel. They had to go digging for the email, which had not been read until that point. The woman on the phone told me there was a form I needed to fill in, which she sent me right away. I mentioned on the phone, that I wanted to make sure the reply would not go unread or missing. I returned the form within minutes with all the appropriate information. I have since made 2 phone calls asking what the status of the bag was, if they had mailed it or processed the form I sent. Both times I was brushed off, once, claiming the person who could help me was in a meeting and that she would call me back, which never happened. I called again today September 17th, and was told they need to find the bag. Sadly, I am left to wonder if the bag is lost, stolen, or if I will ever see the bag again. Getting a straight and timely response should not be this difficult, which leaves me to question other aspects about their professionalism

Perfect for an overnight stop during a long road trip

Liked:Breakfast was nice, it had everything we wanted. I'm sure we could have ordered if we wanted something different. The staff was very friendly. When they noticed their mistake they fixed it immediately.

Disliked:I wish the cot we requested with our booking had been ready for our arrival. We received confirmation when we booked but something went wrong when the rooms were shuffled around.

Excellent choice of hotel that fulfilled all our needs.

Liked:VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO CHADIA WHO WENT THAT EXTRA MILE TO MAKE OUR STAY GREAT. LOVELY PERSON. The breakfast selection was good. The food prepared at the Hazienda restaurant was excellent!! Very tasty, good portion size and compliments to the chef. As the weather was good had a nice strolll back from the Rhein Centre, which had a good choice of shops, but you could take the bus or taxi and supermarkets are across the road.

Disliked:Nothing.
