Not the worst place we've ever stayed, but it was close!

Liked:We booked this hotel for two nights. We only stayed one. Despite being labeled a "Super 8" online, the sign out front says "Rodeway Inn". It seems to be in a state of transition/renovation. We checked in and made our way to our room (101) where we found the door propped open. The only things "right" about this room were the bed and the bathroom. It was obviously in a state of renovation. There was no other furniture, including lighting of any kind. The electricity on one side of the bed did not work. Cabinets were unfinished. One of the closet doors wasn't mounted, there were no coat hangers, no coffee machine, no microwave, no refrigerator--nothing. The countertop to one of the cabinets was missing! When we brought all of this to the attention of the desk clerk he seemed genuinely confused about our concerns, pointing out that the HVAC unit was brand new. He obviously had no idea about what is bare minimum for hotel amenities these days. But even without the amenities, the room was obviously in an unfinished state and should not have been rented.

Filthy hotel with noisy staff

Liked:One of the worst hotels you should avoid — filthy, with noisy staff who disturb you. They don’t provide the room you reserved, and the bathroom is cracked. This hotel doesn’t even deserve one star, but there is no option.

Disliked:The property was sold in the last 3 weeks and we lost our reservation. We were never informed. We showed up and we had no place to stay.
