Close, convenient, would stay again

Paid extra for a non-working spa bath.

Liked:The room was very nice, clean and roomy

Disliked:We took a king suite with a spa jetted bath. The spa didn't work. Desk services would not fix it, or change us to another available room. Adamant that since we used Booking.com we were not eligible for a room change.

Staff confused

Liked:Everything was great but the staff wanted to charge me after I told the I had paid for my reservation

Disliked:After I told the staff I had made a reservation she found it and than told me it was going to be a certain price and I explained to her that I had already paid for my reservation online and she told me that what I had paid for was to make a a reservation but that now I had to pay for the room. I was confused and I asked her if that ment I would be getting that money I had paid online back and she said no. I told her that what was I supposed to do if I had used the money to pay online and now I couldn’t pay because that’s where the money went she told me she would check if she could get the money from online and left behind a door in the lobby for like four seconds and she came back saying she was able to get the payment and game me my room key. The whole thing didn’t make sense and it felt like she was trying to scam me because of her explanation

Decent choice

Liked:Not a bad place. They upgraded us to a jacuzzi “suite”, which was basically a big room with a couch and a whirlpool bath in the bathroom, but it was nice. It was pretty clean, (though the floors could use some better mopping). The furniture is kind of banged up. The bathroom had decent towel bars/hooks and there were a couple of extra towels, which we appreciated. Counter space for toiletries was minimal, but there was a little table that helped – a second one would be wonderful. We appreciated the text from housekeeping asking what they could do for us. Breakfast was ok – a decent selection of hot and cold items, though we wish they’d had brewed decaf instead of instant. The pool area is nice and the flowers on the property are beautiful. The staff is ok, mostly friendly and helpful. They even sent a maintenance guy to replace our smoke detector when it started chirping around 11 pm. A good option for a couple of nights.
