Great place, helpful owner, enjoyed our stay

Liked:Great location, very comfortable cottage with plenty of room for the four of us. Second double bedroom didn't have any room for a chest of drawers or table, but I was fine living out of my suitcase.

Disliked:Building works next door had resulted in the side gate being missing and the fence along one side was not very secure. Appreciate the listing didn't specify fully secure garden particularly not for lively young small dogs who can disappear in the shrubbery and get through gaps, but if we had been made aware beforehand we could have easily brought some temporary barrier fencing, as the listing did specifically say dogs were welcome so we had expected a fairly secure garden. Owner was happy for us to create a barrier with the outside bins so we managed

Excellent. A light spacious, practical family house with wonderful accessible room and garden

Liked:Good location for attending a family wedding nearby. Very quiet neighbourhood and very little general noise outside and we live very rurally so have high standards! Beautifully spacious, light and airy sunny family house. Marvellously practical and accessible. Bigger that it looked on the photos, especially the spacious garden. Well equipped, well managed. Wonderful accessible room and bathroom. Accessible room was delightfully light and sunny with good blinds. French window and side window made the accessible room feel very much part of the main house and even from the bed, very much part of the garden, bringing the outside in, which was lovely. Delightfully sunny aspect , the morning sun streamed into the kitchen and living areas in August. A plain but delightfully private and quiet garden with good paths , lawns , apple tree and pond. The bedrooms were light and a good size. Good bathrooms. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was designed for someone very tall with above standard height work surfaces and cupboards. Great for the taller members of the family, a little stretching for the shorter ones!

Disliked:Nothing it was all great. To be even greater there were just a few very minor things we would have found useful given we were a family attending a wedding: Full length mirror in every bedroom Hooks on bedroom and bathroom doors to hang dresses and clothes . Some rooms only had short hanging space. A different arrangement for outside recycling storage/|collection First impression on arrival was not brilliant with overflowing recycling box and additional bags stacked that an animal had ripped open and scattered at the front of house by the front door. Once through the door and into the house the second impressions were wonderful!
