Not what is expected compared to what was given in the booking.com

Liked:I didn't have a nice experience 😕 as there were no lifts and lots of steps. I had my 76-year-old mother, who has bone cancer. Her poor knees were swollen. Door to fridge hanging off an couldn't open unless used knife. Mum felt afraid?

Disliked:We were afraid to stay as wasn't safe enough that I had to lock my mother into the apartment to go shop as she was very upset. This truly broke my heart as I wanted it to be a lovely break away. To be told by residents there should be junkies coming in at nights so lock ourselves in. We should be fine. Is not what you should hear paying to stay anywhere? I asked for a refund for the 2nd day and asked for this the previous day as I had to book a hotel and I thinks its not my fault the place was unsafe? An should have been given refund

Don’t judge a book by its cover on this apartment. More positives than negatives.

Liked:Proximity to the centre of Waterfront and heritage area as well as nearby traditional pubs.

Disliked:If you can manage to get past the actual aesthetic of the apartment block and the street , you will find the experience fine. The apartment is part of a development that has seen better times and has been neglected. I was taken aback initially myself , and I’m Irish originally. Saying that , the apartment itself is clean and comfortable. I agree with previous reviews with regard to some maintenance issues with cupboard doors, water situation, but overall the apartment is spacious, comfortable, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and €230 for 2 nights. I was happy with the TV situation. Binged on stuff I normally don’t! Miranda answered my call promptly when I couldn’t find the address and came to the property when I couldn’t work out the hot water switch. She was very helpful. The other apartment tenants we met were nice. The complex was clean . The large square next to the apartment had three lovely traditional pubs as well as a supermarket and take away food options. The city centre is 200 metres away. Secure parking was 200 meters away and paid bun for by the host.
