An excellent start to our vacation

Liked:The Waldorf Astoria Washington DC was the perfect way to start our vacation, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. Every interaction we had—from the bellmen to the front desk staff to the team at the bar—was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a hotel where every employee consistently delivers such a high level of hospitality, but that was certainly the case here. We spent our first evening enjoying drinks and appetizers at the bar, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, the food and cocktails were excellent, and the service was top-notch. It was the perfect place to unwind and begin our trip. Check-in was seamless, the bellmen were attentive and helpful with our luggage, and the entire staff made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. The hotel itself is stunning, blending historic grandeur with modern luxury, but what truly sets this property apart is the people who work there. The Waldorf Astoria Washington DC delivered exactly the kind of experience you hope for when staying at a luxury hotel. Expensive but very good

Liked:Stayed here for one night. The room is extremely well-lit and impressive with the high ceilings and windows. It was very clean. Wifi was fast and reliable. The location is convenient for the attractions on the National Mall, as museums are just one street away. There was only a low hum of traffic from the street outside (not bothersome); there was no noise from other rooms. The gym is large with a variety of machines and plenty of bottled water, as well as some fruit. The breakfast at the restaurant (Peacock Alley) is good but quite expensive even for the quality. Overall, the stay was excellent but worth checking if there are other comparable options at a potentially much lower price point.
