Enjoyed our 3 night break

Liked:We visited the Bankes arms for a 3 night break to celebrate my husband’s birthday. First impressions were very good, we had bar snacks for lunch and found the service great. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. The room ‘The Eleanor, was clean, warm and comfortable. We had a view of the square and were more than happy with the room. Breakfast was good and you could order the night before. We ate at the hotel two evenings out of our 3 night stay. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back!!

Good lunch

Liked:Had lunch. My wife had a sandwich which was a flavoursome doorstep with coleslaw and crisps. The side order of chips was generous and unnecessary. I ordered a main - the chicken schnitzel. Delicious and fresh. When you are well fed you don't look at the price so much. Very happy tummies and a nice setting.
