Great Location, Lovely staff, Very Clean.

Liked:I had a wonderful experience at the Ruby Lissi Hotel Vienna by IHG, thanks to its fantastic location, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. Situated right in the Innere Stadt, the hotel makes exploring the city easy for people staying for 1-2days —St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Stephansplatz, and the Schwedenplatz transit hub are all just a short walk away. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Most importantly, the hotel was impeccably clean; both the rooms and common areas were kept spotless and fresh every day. With its aesthetic and cosy, modern vibe, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would gladly return on my next trip to Vienna!

Disliked:While I personally wasn't a huge fan of the self-check-in process, the lovely staff were right there to guide me through. They support made all the difference.

I wouldn’t return here. Not sure why this place is four stars.

Liked:Comfortable bed, good location

Disliked:The check in process was a self-serve situation that was confusing and unnecessarily prolonged and the staff member who greeted us and ‘helped’ us store our luggage made made us feel as if we were bothering him and the lowest of our priorities. He did and said the absolute minimum he needed to in order to swoosh away the annoying flies that his patrons were. His belligerence put us all in a bad mood and unfortunately cast a negative light on the establishment and our initial impression of Vienna. I was surprised that a four star hotel would employ such a personality to be responsible for its guests first impression. We were really unimpressed. We experienced the same negative and sarcastic attitude when we checked out and asked his help to store our bags. Fortunately a woman was present when we finally came to collect our bags who was professional and pleasant and actually represented the hotel in a friendly way. It’s a shame that one person can drag down your impression of a place and your overall enjoyment of a stay.
