A True Treasure

Liked:This guesthouse is a true treasure. Room is spacious and you will really be amazed, feels like a home with a jungle view. Jessie and the whole family were so welcoming and we even got invited to a birthday celebration with their family, where we had a chance to try authentic local food. Breakfast was always very generous with eggs, bacon, pancakes and lots of nice fruit. The guesthouse is well located in a little town, perfect getaway for exploring all sides of the island. It is near 2 supermarkets, local affordable takeaways, restaurants and the most incredible beach Petite Anse (trust me - will become your NR1 on the whole island), which is only 12min drive away. We forgot our snorkels and Jessie was so nice to let us use theirs. The best owners you can meet. Looking forward to come back already!

The breakfast was outstanding – fresh, varied, and prepared with great attention to detail. Travellers who are looking for a small, authentic place to stay and who prefer to avoid the anonymity of large hotel chains will find exactly what they are looking for here. The atmosphere is personal, calm, and very well maintained. Highly recommended.

Liked:This accommodation was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations! 💛 Jessie and her daughter are amazing, incredibly generous and warm-hearted women who took care of us with such kindness that we felt at home from the very first day. The room was beautifully clean, spacious, and very well equipped – including a kitchen and a washing machine. Regular cleaning and fresh towels and bed linen were a given. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic – rich, delicious, and different every day, all prepared with love. We were traveling with a three-year-old child, and we could not have wished for better care. Everything was provided for our child – a baby cot, high chair, toys, and genuine, heartfelt attention. As a wonderful surprise, they even grilled fish for us for dinner on our last evening – a gesture we will never forget. Without a doubt, the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. A place full of comfort, kindness, and genuine warmth. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Jessie, for an unforgettable stay ❤️ We will definitely come back!

Liked:Our apartment was spacious and designed with a great taste. There is also a small communal area outside, we were able to grill our fish for dinner there. The breakfast was served in our apartment and it was of very good quality.

Disliked:There is a restaurant, a take-away and a small supermarket nearby. The beach Anse a la Mouche is pretty but too shallow to enjoy. If you want to explore the island from this location, you really need a car.
