Got more than what I paid for!

Liked:If you’re looking to get out of your comfort zone, this is the place for you! Looking to increase in wisdom? I promise after you come here you’ll learn a lesson you’ll never forget. Never have I learned so much from a trip until I came here. If you’re looking to become an interesting person and have a travel story that’ll linger in the minds of others, this is the place to stay! Considering going to a haunted house with the kids to build some unforgettable memories? Haunted houses are $40 per person where as coming here is $40 per family. Do the math.

Disgusting!!

Liked:This is literally the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever encountered and should be shut down for health and safety reasons. The bathroom was rotting with mold in the ceiling and floor. There was a mouse living in the room. No Wi-Fi, all amenities listed were not actually available. The housekeepers were intrusive and unprofessional, they’d walk into the room daily, touch personal belongings when we weren’t in the room. Were extremely inappropriate trying to flirt and speak to guests and went as far as asking if the married men were single or available, soliciting the men and trying to show up in their rooms when they were present. This is unprofessional and grossly inappropriate for a business. Unfortunately this stay was booked in advance for business otherwise we would’ve never considered it. I would never recommend this dingy, moldy, run down infested place to anyone. Truly disgusted with this experience.

Aging and Run Down

Liked:We were these to visit UofH so we wanted something near by. We were only there for one night and because we had paid decided to tough it out. Nope, never again. GOOD Staff at the front desk was very nice. The TV worked and there was WIFI NOT SO GOOD The motel is very old and in need of serious repair and updating beginning with the parking lot and driveways. They have large pot holes that if you're not careful could cause damage to your vehicle. We reserved a non-smoking room but it clearly was not. It smelled of smoke and must or possibly mold. The door had gaps when it was closed so any cool air from the a/c escaped as fast as it was generated. The chair was stained and had clearly seen better days. The carpet was old and we weren't sure about the cleanliness so walked around with shoes on. The 2 queen size beds were comfortable but the blankets and comforters were stained so we weren't sure if they had been washed. The bathroom was sparse, had no towels/wash cloths or other amenities. The tub looked like it had not been cleaned although that may have been more related to aging as the finish on the tub was non-existent. The best part was the toilet; if you sat too far forward it lifted up where it should have been connected to the floor. it seem to function fine but clearly needed to be repaired. The frig which was dorm room size worked but someone had left a soda in the freezer and it exploded. The room just needed a really good general cleaning as the counter tops showed residue from spills that were not adequately cleaned BAD If all the above was not bad enough there were flies which we speculate were coming in from the gaps in the door. So as you dispatched with one fly a few minutes later another one would show up. Area was bit sketchy, lots of people in and out all through the night with loud cars, loud music, and maybe other activities. Who ever gave those previous reviews must not have stayed there.
