We would definitely go back and ask for a larger room.

Liked:Exceptional architectural and interior details. Water taxis come right to the front door. Location is central but not crowded and travel wether walking or on vapporetos around Venice was easy. Only 10 rooms!

Disliked:The interiors although beautiful were dark with little sitting space. Larger rooms might afford that - don't know.

Worn and Torn

Liked:The location was great.

Disliked:It’s a 3 star hotel with 5 star expenses. They advertise “breakfast included” but it’s only for a continental breakfast. To have the normal breakfast you have to pay an additional E15 per day. The rugs are worn and torn . The shower is so small you can’t turn around. There was no window in our room. The hotel needs a complete makeover.

From every perspective, a fabulous stay.

Liked:Staff was great, although at times it felt they may have been a bit understaffed. Loved the historic feeling of the building, it's terrace over looking the Grand Canal.

Disliked:Only one thing - We needed an iron and ironing board and they said they didn't have one.

Disliked:The pictures online where much much nicer and cleaner than the hotel itself. We were very disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel the rooms were dingy and in need of renovation.
