Liked:Excellent staff and room very clean. Nice old building with impressive restorations for modernization. Close to train station and vaporetto stops. Good variety for free breakfast.

Disliked:Neing seniors, there is no passenger elevator. We had to walk 52 stairs to go to 2nd floor room. Their lift is for their services only.

Liked:Check in was smooth, location was so convenient and a short 5 min walk to the station. Very friendly and helpful service, they were particularly generous in providing us with a takeaway breakfast as we had an early checkout for a bus transfer the next morning, as well as in storing our luggage after check out. Would really recommend!

For Venice it is cheap, but I wouldn't stay again.

Liked:The staff was wonderful, and the place was very clean. From the outside, the building is gorgeous, it's right on the water, and very close to the station and the center of town.

Disliked:Our room was so noisy I couldn't sleep all night, even wearing ear plugs. We were on the first floor right above a boat-taxi stop, and there were boat noises and the sounds of people boarding and getting off right under our window all night/morning. I had specifically asked for a quiet room. The rooms are quite spartan, which is normal for the price (it is more like a hostel as far as that goes). The breakfast was disappointing, with a very limited selection of mediocre pastries, canned mixed fruit, and rubbery hard boiled eggs.
