Beautiful Hotel, very comfortable.

Liked:Staff. Location close to the train station. Direct harbour for water taxy. Ancient room.

Disliked:Breakfast is not the best, not a big variety.

It could be so much better

Liked:The room was very clean and the daily maid service was as of a high standard. The front desk team were friendly and welcoming. The grounds of the property and gardens are well maintained and charming.

Disliked:The breakfast staff were very disappointing. They let this property down. It was almost like they didn’t want to be there and they made you feel very uncomfortable even asking for a coffee - it was like this was a huge chore for them. The breakfast selection is poor and is not kept stocked up - no glasses for juice, pastries not restocked - it’s a case of when they are gone, they are gone.
