A convenient location away from downtown in a nice neighborhood.

Liked:The location was fantastic. It was a short 5 minute walk to the train and the bus. My other friend had to walk at least half an hour to get to the train, and sometimes had to wait an hour to get a bus. It’s a short walk to Queen Elizabeth’s Park and there is a great food court nearby that has high end food. My room was the perfect size and I had my own bathroom and was quiet (or at least the other house guests were quiet). I would stay here again.

Disliked:I could have used one more blanket on the bed.

Great host, very comfortable accommodation in a terrific setting. Great value for money.

Liked:Mike is a warm, generous and delightful host. The facility is excellent. After a business life of endless hotel nights, my stay at Mike's was a greatly welcomed change. My room was very comfortable, and offered all I needed for my stay. I felt welcomed and enjoyed my chats with Mike. If I were to return to Vancouver I would stay again without hesitation. Thank you Mike. The location is perfect. Great coffee and breakfast within 2 minutes walk, (you need to know that it's vegan) and a high quality food hall and the Skytrain into the downtown and the airport only a 10 minute walk away.

Disliked:There was nothing not to like.

Unable to check in because the host was unavailable and unresponsive.

Liked:Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to stay at the property.

Disliked:Very disappointing experience. The host told me I needed to call when I arrived because he had to let me into the property. I called and texted him before arriving and again while I was standing at the door, but he did not answer or show up. After waiting more than 15 minutes, I had no choice but to leave and make other arrangements for the night. He contacted me about an hour later, when it was already too late. This caused unnecessary stress, wasted my time, and seriously disrupted my night and travel plans. I would not recommend this host based on my experience.

Liked:Great location near beautiful park, great shoppingmall with food court and close to public transport. Calm neighbourhood. Mike is an excellent host, very kind and always willing to help with all our questions.
