Liked:Spacious and tastefully furnished apartment in a great location

Disliked:Building and apartment are a bit aged. Stairway lighting and the washing machine's tumbler do not work, cooking equipment is old. Chairs on the terrace would be great.

Liked:The house is big and airy; very breezy which tempers the coastal heat and humidity, and quite spacious. It's also quite cool at night. It's clean and well maintained. The location is perhaps the biggest selling point, close to Diani and Kongo beaches, a major supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance. Diana was responsive to our requests.

Disliked:My friend and I planned to cook on our trip, but we found the kitchen a little lacking. The pots were in poor condition, knives were dull, the kettle is broken, and no tupperware. A few of the cutlery were rusty, I imagine because of the humidity and salt content in the water, but the owner should invest in a few high grade cutlery pieces. If you don't plan on cooking though, this is the best place to stay!
