Very strong smell throughout

Liked:The cleanliness of the room and the central location were amazing.

Disliked:Throughout the hotel there is a "signature scent" being pumped through a machine in the lobby and I could smell it in the hall on our floor and even in our room. When I asked the woman at the front desk about it, I was told I needed to request a hypoallergenic room. I think if the hotel is pumping out fragrance, it should be noted somewhere, especially since there are many guests, including myself, who are veey sensitive to strong scents. A hypoallergenic room wouldn't solve the issue of having the strong smell in the main areas.

Liked:Front staff were very welcoming and helpful. King suite room was really nice. Lots of lovely touches.

Disliked:Not having a coffee maker and being charged $5.00 for a coffee in the rooftop restaurant at 9am.
