Loved Toro. This hotel has outstanding vistas of the Duero river and was very good value for money.

Liked:Exceptional view. Friendly staff. Well located. Bathroom was functional with a great shower. Clean.

Disliked:Aircon was temperamental. To make adjustments I had to go down to recep. Parking outside was a bit of a squeeze. My in-room safe didn't work.

Can't wait for our next visit!

Liked:One of the most peaceful and relaxing hotels we have stayed in, the view over the Douro river was fantastic. We are glad we paid the extra few Euros for this view and a spacious balcony. The Hotel Bar/Restaurant also shared the amazing view and the main entrance to the Hotel led onto a beautiful small park adjacent to the church. Beautiful old town with lots of character and a great selection of bars/restaurants, which feature mostly local produce, which the locals are, rightly very proud.

Disliked:The pool hadn't opened for the season, which was rather disappointing in 30+ temperatures. The 2nd night of our stay coincided with the weekly night closure of the Bar/Restaurant, which was unfortunate.

Great hotel, excellent location, comfortable beds and beautiful view.

Liked:A lovely light room with a spectacular view of the Duoro. Everything about the place was exceptional. Nice restaurant/ bar. Staff very friendly. Parking available next to the entrance. The hotel is situated in the old part of the town close to a beautiful church and a short walk to cafes and bars. We will visit again.
