Comfortable hotel outside the action of Shinjuku—incredible onsen and great restaurant

Liked:Loved this hotel. The onsen was so wonderful. The view from our room was spectacular, and the bed was very comfy. The Japanese breakfast at the hotel was one of my favorite meals of the trip. Loved having a 7/11 right across the street for early morning coffee needs. The location is a bit of a walk from Shinjuku and transit, but it’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Disliked:Having to walk 10-15 minutes to the nearest transit station was a bit of a convenience.

Great stay, would absolutely book again

Liked:The location was great, tucked away on a quiet street but an easy walk to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. Absolutely loved the onsen. Try to get up there for sunset in the outdoor bath, the view was 10/10! The beds were comfy, the room was cosy - overall a great place to stay on our last night in Tokyo. There wasn’t a great bar just down the road with great late night food and drinks.

Disliked:The rooms are very small! There wasn’t enough room for us to have both our suitcases open in the room, which would’ve become annoying had we been staying for more than one. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of!
