Good hotel in a very central location.

Liked:Considering its central location the hotel is surprisingly quiet. Onsen good. Helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.

Disliked:Hard to find initially as has small entrance and foyer, and is tucked away behind the main street.

Liked:Good location and good value for money.

Disliked:It was tucked away and you had to walk through a dark roadway with a small park bordering it to get there. I never felt unsafe, but you need to be aware of it.

Liked:The staff were nice... but very surprised this hotel gets such high ratings. The rooms were SO SMALL, so dated and not clean.

Disliked:Rooms were very small, very dated, not clean - you can absolutely find a better hotel for same/similar costs. I was surprised it came as highly reviewed as it did.

just what I needed

Liked:Location was wonderful, close to everything but still tucked away and quiet. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious - lots of variety and evening was yummy.

Disliked:The smoking room was so tiny. I wish my window wasn't frosted so I could have some scenery.
