Liked:Checked in few days ago for our week stay , super happy to say so far we enjoyed every second of it , truly it is one of the best luxury oceanfront resort around Tofino variety rooms and cottage to choose from , maybe low tourist season , not overcrowd the whole resort so amazing peaceful and tranquility environment all around ! it is out door lovers paradise land , so much out door fun to do like surfing hiking lot wildlife to explore or just laid back in the fire pit watch the wave roll in and out from the mighty Pacific Ocean , why go abroad with the hustle and bustle airport crowed ! front desk very friendly and accommodating , our deluxe room spacious cozy with breathtaking view of the ocean nice comfy bedding modern bathroom not a hair can find toiletries well stocked restaurant on site , it is one of the best Resort I been just prestigious , plus all the resort staff we meet they all polite and attentive , truly recommend this resort if you really looking for rejuvenation land of no worries in low tourist season ( Staff told us Summer season here like a ZOO )

Great resort near nature

Liked:Very nice location just outside of the national park. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. Rooms are spacious and with a modern television that also supports Chromecasting. Facilities in the resort are also very pleasant.

Disliked:It would have been nicer if there was a 'buffet-style' breakfast, options for breakfast were very good but just a bit more on the expensive side.

Fantastic Long Beach Lodge

Liked:Absolutely gorgeous resort. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had an incredible ocean view and were lulled to sleep with the sound of ocean waves. So many little touches such as delicious coffee and tea, the bath, shower and products, the beach side fire pits make this a resort you want to return to. The food at the Great Room restaurant plus the staff greeting and serving make this a first class dining experience. We will be returning to this outstanding resort!

Surf Retreat April/May 2026

Liked:Let me start out by saying this has been one of our best vacations we have ever been on. This was our third visit to Tofino and my husband was looking at improving his surf skills. The surf retreat was perfect timing! The level of customer service we received was phenomenal. Starting with communication prior to our arrival - advising us of a change in the agenda and booking meal reservations ahead of time for us. Shortly after our arrival we met Chance and Sam from the Surf club. Their positivity really set the tone for the remainder of our stay. Chance’s surf knowledge and guidance was so interesting. The way he can read waves and immediately recognize the outcome is pretty incredible. Sam’s practical demonstrations and reinforcement in the water was so helpful. My husband gained both knowledge and skill throughout the retreat and by the end was able to put those skills to use and could see improvement, not to mention he had a blast doing it. This was our reason for booking the long beach lodge. The cost of the package was reasonable for what was included. Even if you think you know how to surf - I guarantee you could learn more from booking the retreat next time it’s offered. Chance and Sam both gave my husband ideas to work on skills at home, even without access to water/surfing. I highly recommend booking this package next time it’s offered. The surf club itself also has food and beverages and huge change rooms with really nice amenities. The lodge itself is a dream. Lots of thoughtful touches waiting for you at check in. We booked a beachfront room and the view was amazing. The bed was so comfortable and listening to the sound of the waves was so peaceful. The restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed every single meal there. You can also order drinks from the bar and go sit outside by the fireplaces located just off the beach. We can’t wait to return. This past week was truly magical. Every single staff member was so nice, the food and drinks were great and the accommodations were beautiful. Thank you so much for a wonderful week.
