Beautiful resort near Tegallalang

Liked:The lobby’s view and the whole surrounding area The pool and the breakfast by the pool The staff

Disliked:The bathroom had a smell problem coming from the piping system. I’m sure the will fix it, but it was not solved during our stay and it’d not happening in such a high level resort Our room was without any view. Facing some plants covering another small building. No problem, the room was excellent anyway, but it’d be more clearly described in the Booking room description.

Disliked:Was looking forward to this trip, the customer service and assistance in this place is very poor, unhelpful, they only care about money rather than guest experience and customer satisfaction

Escape the hustle of Ubud and unwind at Maar Resort & Spa

Liked:Maar Resort is a very nice and quiet place to escape the hustle of Ubud. The beautiful public pool and the bathtub on the balcony, overlooking a rice terrace and the jungle, were the perfect way to spend a relaxing day at the resort. The room was spacious and clean (new!). We went for a 30-minute walk around the neighbourhood (which is something you can't easily enjoy everywhere around Ubud). It gave us a wonderful glimpse of everyday Balinese life. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and Ayu and staff were friendly and welcoming. The Nasi Goreng and Flying Noodles for breakfast were great!
