Barrymore Hotel is excellent!

Liked:The location of this hotel was very suitable for us having to attend our grandsons graduation at the Straz right across the street. What impress us the most was the kindness of Curtis H. He took care of our reservation in person and there were no flaws during our stay. He was always attending our needs promptly. The staff is very courteous too. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. Having a restaurant at the hotel is a plus or you are able to walk to nearby restaurants. The lobby has accesible and clean bathrooms and there are sitting chairs and a table if you want to gather in a group. The cost of the rooms are very reasonable. If and when I return to Tampa Barrymore Hotel is our first choice!

A+ experience

Liked:The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. While the hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the downtown area, it was well maintained and very clean. I would especially like to thank Curtis for all of his help making our stay a very pleasant one.

Good location!

Liked:Location was in walking distance of restaurants. Staff was very nice! On-site bar was a plus! Shuttle available for 2mile radius places including cruise port. Bathroom was renovated & nice. Pool was nice.

Disliked:Toilet needs replaced, didnt want to flush. Shade needed at pool area.

Wish they’d be more accommodating. We had a horrible sewage smell the evening of check -in and it was not resolved.
