Relaxing comfortable and homey.

Liked:The entire experience was amazing. We love meeting new people and this was a shared stay with the family who owned the home. They made us feel as we were at home. Anything we needed or wanted they got for us. Breakfast was so wonderful. And early exit the first morning and Leslie had our breakfast hot and to go. The location was absolutely remarkable. The “pond “ across the street was simply gorgeous. They were so gracious and compassionate. In chatting I mentioned that my husband just lost his mom and we took care of her on our home so this vacation was us getting away after. They had a beautiful card for us at breakfast the next day morning. I wish we could cross paths again but chances are that we won’t. The room was cozy and the bathroom was close and very clean.

Disliked:There was nothing we did not like.

This is a very special family home to spend time in and with. Anyone staying there will be blessed a

Liked:Lesley and George both spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast each morning. Knowing that we would be gone all day, they prepared a high protein breakfast with eggs, sausage, or ham, incredible yogurt with fresh, Maine blueberries and homemade granola, even sliced watermelon one morning. Each evening, Lesley made fresh cookies and spoiled us with them! Since I have celiac disease, she made me special gluten-free peanut butter cookies. And was so careful with my breakfast each morning. Very thoughtful. The bathroom was large and had everything we could want, including very luxurious towels! The sitting room had our own little refrigerator to use and an incredibly well stocked basket with all kinds of snacks, nut mixes, protein bars, etc.

Disliked:At first, we weren’t sure how it would work staying in the home with our hosts, but they made us feel so welcome and comfortable and opened up their home to us in a very gracious way. They were very respectful of our privacy and yet welcomed us into their family.

Enjoyed our short stay there and couldn’t ask for better hosts.

Liked:Leslie provided a breakfast sandwich since we’re leaving to Acadia. Convenient location for us. Leslie provided snacks, water, and cookies. Family made sure we had what we needed and more than willing to answer any questions we had. Very gracious hosts.

Disliked:Bed was comfortable but very high off the ground and for 70 year olds was hard to get into. Maybe stating in description about this would be helpful. Also, there were 2 dogs( very friendly and we are use to dogs) but if a person is allergic to dogs or doesn’t like dogs staring this might be good too. They both came back to our area which wasn’t terrible and there was barking at 6am our first morning there.
