Amazing snorkeling

Liked:Wife and I took a spur of the moment drive to the keys for our birthdays. Google suggested this reef as the clearest water snorkeling in the Forida Keys. Looe Key Reef Resort did not disappoint. The water was amazingly clear on our excursion. We saw tons of different fish, dolphins, a bunch of sea turtles and giant loggerhead turtles. The captain and crew were great and even made a few detours on the way back to see the dolphins and turtles that we saw on the way back in, and clean up some floating trash that we saw. Very obvious they care that you have a great experience and love what they do. Our boat was the biggest and most spacious of all the guided tours out there. Water was super calm, but my wife might have gotten seasick on one of those smaller boats. We stayed in the motel there and our room was right above where the boat docks, so getting to and from took about a minute. Not a fancy 5 star hotel, but NOT a dump either and affordable. We were perfectly happy with our stay and the snorkeling blew our expectations out of the water.

Great experience looe key snorkeling trip!!!

Liked:this was a fabulous trip, we saw a great assortment of fish and coral. We have snorkeled many times, this is absolutely one of the best!!

Another great experience with Looe Key Reef Resort - Diving

Liked:This was our second trip diving with Looe Key Reef Resort (stayed and dove a week with them a couple years ago). Same experience as before - completely taken care of by the nicest people ever. I loved that Rob remembered my son and I from before and Terry was our guide this trip. My son and I are fairly inexperienced divers so we always hire a guide. Terry was patient and pointed out lots of wildlife during the dives. My husband snorkeled and was on the boat socializing with Rob and Captain James while we dove. We all had a great time and really appreciated the casual, kind approach to the trip while always insuring safety.
