Musty, Damp Let-down

Liked:We are Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy Members. Booked this with family for a nice weekend, in what I thought was a decent room. The entire Guest Towers building has a horrible, musty smell, and the moldy, musty smell from our room air conditioner alone was almost unbearable. Our bedding was moist. The hotel has a very worn, outdated feel. Our room is on the level of a Hamton Inn. If you are looking for a luxury destination, this hotel is not it.

First Class Experience

Liked:First class experience at the Vinoy for July 4th weekend! We brought our furry family member and it was such a pleasure to stay at a resort where he is welcomed, not just tolerated. They even gave us a goodie bag for him! The updates they continue to make elevate the experience, including welcome bubbly when we checked in and service by the pool (thanks to Marc for taking such good care of us). Food at Elliott Aster was outstanding - nice we didn’t have to go out in the FL heat to enjoy a high-end meal. Late check out was accommodated (note I have status with Marriott) and the guys at the valet (Nathan, Colin, Adam and Lasrvick - all dog lovers) were very friendly and accommodating, making sure we had water for our trip home. Cannot wait for our next trip.
