Tolarno Hotel is a diamond in the rough

Liked:Exceptional location with a tram stop out the front and a fabulous pub called the Fifth Province a short walk away, a Woolworths just beyond that which is very convenient. So much beautiful artwork to enjoy, comfortable beds and couch, a full kitchen, the shower was great. It’s vintage hotel vibes - it’s a little rough around the edges but packed with charm and soul. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked:You can hear everyone and everything around your room. Overall the room could probably use some TLC, like new carpet and some new pillows (some of them smelled bad)

I would be very hesitant to stay there again , filfty and old

Liked:The staff we did see were very lovely, polite and helpful , the art work was impressive ,

Disliked:It was quite dirty and unkept starting at the entrance , the hallways were filthy and smelt like urine , not pleasant at all , the first room was quite dirty the toilet had not been cleaned , the second room was better and had two beds like I requested , not much interaction with anyone ,staff seemed scarce It is old and really needs upgrading

Liked:I’ve been here any times but this time it wasn’t as good. I assumed change of management. I book as it’s perfect location

Disliked:The place smelled of weed, had to call to get soap, broken window in room which had to call again to get fixed
