Liked:With three littles, we loved the pool and private beach.

Liked:The places was new and clean. The pool was noce and the view was amazing. The pier was amazing and the little beach with chairs was very relaxing.

Disliked:The only thuing I did not like was the elevators. Even though it was a short 2 story ride the elevators where not Air conditioned and it was heat index of 107 outside and the 60 sec ride was like a sauna.

River Hotel of Southport is an excellent choice!

Liked:It was a lovely, clean room with a beautiful view of the Cape Fear river. We got to watch dolphins playing in the water early one morning, Spectacular! Southport is a great little town just a few blocks from the hotel with great food and shopping. Lots of cuisines and pubs to choose from.
