Liked:I was working in the area and it was a reasonable place to stay. The living area/kitchen was nice and spacious and really quite cool. The big window in the stairs.

Disliked:Bed was slightly uncomfortable and so was the sofa. It was a bit dull in the bedroom area and bathroom but thats just a matter of taste really. Overall its a decent place to stay.

Happy with apartment and location, but door lock problem caused anxiety & embarrassment.

Liked:We provided our own breakfast. Location was good in a pleasant street, accessible to shops, restaurants and public transport to city centre.

Disliked:On two separate occasions, we were unable to lock the door. First time - it took 2 hours to resolve. I was advised to replace batteries. There were no batteries. Keybox with spare key couldn't be opened by any of the codes provided. An important meeting - one of several for which we had flown to Southampton - was missed. Second time - owner locked door remotely. No iron, although listed in facilities. Owner undertook to provide one but it did not materialise. Having paid booking.com in full, we were asked by the owner to complete a Truvi verification process for which there was a non-refundable, additional service charge. Is this standard practice? It's the first time we have encountered such a request.
