A wonderful family stay in Sölden

Liked:We had a wonderful stay at die berge. The hotel is beautiful, modern and very clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and the most amazing omelettes. We especially loved the rooftop pool and the amazing mountain views. The location is perfect for exploring the area, and the Summer Card was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return.

Disliked:There was honestly very little we didn't like. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay.

Liked:This is a very nice hotel, super clean, and the staff are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is probably the best I've ever had at a hotel... it literally has everything one could hope for. I loved the 'green/eco' options for not having your room cleaned every day... very nice concept rewarded with a few selections to choose from. I wish all hotels did this! They also provide a little 'thank you' gift when checking out.. nice touch. On a side note, I booked a room with the bathtub and brought all my stuff to enjoy a nice soak, but when checking in... they upgraded our room to the sky room and it didn't have a bathtub... I was kinda bummed, but didn't want to complain since they upgraded us for free. Funny thing was I almost booked that room until I saw there was no option to have the bathtub. However, the electric blackout blinds were a plus!

Disliked:The hotel is very modern, but I found it to have a very 'cold' feeling, not cozy at all. That's just a personal opinion, many people look for that aesthetic. The infinity pool is nice, but a bit too cold for me. I believe they keep it at 30° in the summer... but with the cool mountain air, it's just not comfortable. I tried.. lasted 10 mins before my teeth were chattering. Lol.
