A bit of a mixed bag

Liked:Lovely setting, room size was good, enjoyed the decor and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Disliked:Unfortunately our room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, I spoke to staff and they did run the hoover round. I was also disappointed with the breakfast, we arrived at 08:10am all of the cooked breakfast items on the buffet were cold. But the selection of cold items looked lovely and the fruit was fresh.

Outstanding hotel

Liked:This place is exceptional value. The room #64 was huge and it was nice for the children to have their own space. The shower was incredible. Our breakfast was one of the better hotel buffets we've had food-wise. Our stay, whilst short, left us wanting to come back.

Disliked:At breakfast, it would be nice to have the option of a pot of tea. Like many hotels, the cups are thimbles so we had to keep getting up for drinks. The pool facilities were useful for the children but could do with a little tidying up.

Too hot

Liked:Beautiful building perfectly decorated and the staff were helpful.

Disliked:As the weather was warm, around 23-24 outside even after leaving the windows open, fan on and curtains shut it was way too hot in there. Really uncomfortable. Id definitely go back but in the cooler weather. It was good for London. 5 mins in a taxi to the train (£9 ISH) Then Elizabeth line into London, that plus the oyster was over £120 on travel for the day for family of 4. This hotel was really handy for Windsor.
