Avoid room 200

Liked:Great location between Marina Bay and Chinatown and right next to the excellent Lau Pa Sat food market. Lovely rooftop pool, nice decor, friendly staff and great bar downstairs. Bed super comfortable.

Disliked:Sadly there were a few things not to like. The main one was our room (200). Right next to.the gym and the lifts. The sound-,proofing to the gym was ok, but there was mire foot traffic near the lifts and our door was poorly sound-proofed. The other negative about the room is the aircon. Having matched our preset temp it would turn off with a clunk, then turn on again in about 2-3 minutes for about 15 seconds. This pattern went on all night until I switched it to on with lowest fan. The room cooled down to a chilly 17deg but this was preferable to the intrusive on-off of the auto mode.
