Liked:The neat and clean rooms and linen.

Disliked:However for an overnight stay in shimla, this is a terrible idea, because of its location. It's a major trek up , and if you reach shimla (old bus stand) after 10 pm, even the lift is not operating and so the climb is quite significant.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Visitors are allowed only in common areas between 9 AM and 9 PM and are not permitted inside rooms. Female dorms are strictly for female guests only. Local IDs are accepted. No parking is available at the property, but is available 700 meters from the property (paid). The Hosteller is a backpacker hostel chain suited for young travellers, and does not permit guests below 18 years of age, even with legal guardians. The property is pet friendly, and we allow pets only in private rooms (not dorms). Any damages are attributable to the pet owners. Nestled close to Mall Road, The Hosteller Shimla is accessible only by foot as no tourist vehicles are allowed, offering an intimate escape from the hustle and bustle. Park your car at the paid parking zone near The Lift in Shimla and get ready for a scenic 15-minute uphill trek to reach us.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
