Excellent option when visiting Seoul

Liked:The hotel was great and provided hot water in each room, the food was excellent and the service was great. There is also this trainee, Lucy Kim who is very nice and was super helpful- can comfortably talk to when waiting and assisted us in getting a ride.

Modern comfort in an excellent Seoul location

Liked:This was our first stay at a Hilton property, and Conrad Seoul made a very positive impression. The location is excellent. The Hyundai Seoul is just across the street, while IFC Mall, restaurants, shops and public transport are also within easy reach. For us, this made the hotel one of the most convenient choices in Seoul. Our room felt modern, spacious and comfortable, which is exactly the style we prefer. It was immaculately clean, well maintained and equipped with high-quality amenities. Despite the central location, the room and hotel atmosphere felt calm, and we did not experience any significant noise during our stay. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection and attentive service. The hotel’s facilities and overall atmosphere were also consistent with what we expected from a five-star property. The staff were professional and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor negative was a noticeable wait during check-in. As Hilton Diamond members, we also requested a late checkout and were offered 2 p.m. Since the hotel was fully booked, we considered this understandable and appreciated the additional time. We arranged our airport transfer through the hotel and travelled in a beautiful BMW i7 sedan. The car was exceptionally comfortable, and the driver was friendly and professional, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. Considering the excellent location, modern room, breakfast, amenities and overall standard, we felt the hotel offered fair value. Conrad Seoul provided a comfortable and polished five-star experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

The room was acceptable; the breakfast wasn’t.

Liked:The room was nice and reasonably clean and staff friendly, but I find it hard to concur that this is a 5 star hotel as it doesn’t go beyond acceptable.

Disliked:I had heard great things about the breakfast buffet and, as one of the few five-star hotels in Seoul I hadn’t yet visited, I was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The quality of the food did not match the hotel’s reputation or the price being charged. Several pastries tasted slightly stale, the meat was overcooked, and there was an uncomfortable number of fruit flies hovering around the buffet area. For a hotel that proudly introduces its chefs in the hotel literature, I expected much more care and attention to go into the breakfast menu. Instead, many of the dishes were surprisingly bland and lacked the quality and flavour you would expect from a luxury five-star property. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly throughout, so I have no complaints about the service. However, compared with almost every other four to five-star hotel breakfast buffet I’ve experienced in Seoul, this one fell well short of expectations and simply isn’t at the standard it should be for the price being charged. It may have been an off day, but I’m not willing to make another expensive return visit to find out.
