An Amazing Value In a Beautiful Guesthouse With Gorgeous Surroundings

Liked:If you want a place outside of a city, this cannot be beat. Quiet, pastoral, and off the beaten path. The property is gorgeous, with fields of horses nearby, a beautiful reading sun room, and delightful decor that evokes your grandparent's house. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus respite to soothe our legs after a long day of traveling around the Golden Circle. If we were to visit again and stay in the area, this would be our first choice.

Disliked:Some nits about the listing: * It indicates that there are private bathrooms but they are indeed shared bathrooms. Perhaps it's a language/translation issue (like maybe they meant it's a single-person use locking bathroom) but it was important when we were booking--that said the bathrooms were in good shape. * It also indicates there is a seasonal swimming pool, but there was no swimming pool to be found. Other than that, the only negative I can find is that the walls are pretty thin and so you will be able to hear what's going on in the neighboring rooms. In our trip, this was the 7th most expensive accommodation out of 9 total but was probably the 4th best, making it a phenomenal value and HIGHLY recommended.
