Disliked:The room was really run down, not nice at all. It was on a highway and you could hear the cars zooming past all night. I could hear the family in the room next to me -- and hear every word and whisper.

Good Marriott but could be great

Liked:Marriott/Ambassador/Titanium for life/ 3,600 nights in Marriotts. This hotel in gorgeous Sedona is part of the “Tribute” collection which the brand specifies as special and out of the ordinary, bland Marriott portfolio. I have been to Sedona many times and it is my favorite location in the West. The staff at this hotel are friendly,efficient and knowledgeable about their hotel. Molly & Austin were particularly helpful. Pros: location and view are outstanding Rooms are super clean and nice size tv ( if you need it) My room had access to the shared balcony overlooking “ coffee pot” The restaurant balcony has different, inspiring views of Sedona. The restaurant food and service are good but limited. The lobby and restaurant are integrated into one grand room. Expect to pay $50 for a bottle of mediocre wine from the marketplace to take away. Fire pits on balconies are wonderful at night. CONS: Toddlers running and screaming on large shared balcony both of my 2 mornings at. 07:45! ( directly outside our 2 rooms) Father not even close by. A guest should not have to come out of a deep sleep and have the parent remove the out of control, screaming children from outside my door EVER, much less at dawn. I had 2 rooms at over $561/night for the Superbowl weekend but, mostly to soak in the gorgeous, serene Sedona views and atmosphere in peace & quiet. The shared balcony, if not the entire Tribute hotel should be adults ONLY! Sedona is a place for adults to get away from the overbearing, never ending noise that is America. Bathroom is too spartan. There is zero space to place any personal bathroom necessities as there is only a sink with no cabinet space or shelves. Towel bar placement for towels does not make sense. <6 inch on top of toilet bowl(?) Housekeeping carts rolled out producing extremely loud noise at 07:45 AM both days over the outside concrete balcony which they parked outside our rooms and began speaking to each other loudly. This Marriott is in such a great location but needs more work to accommodate the target market of high end guests it aspires to. ** Tribute, make your rooms and your entire hotel experience something that keeps high end guests coming back**

Modern and clean hotel with a million dollar view

Liked:It’s a very cool mix of modern and clean look. They have a bunch of free activities to do which is great and the view is million dollars from the resourant.
