Dissapointing if you have a ground floor "garden" room.

Liked:Very comfortable bed and located two hundred metres from a bar/restaurant where you can sit on a terrace overlooking porpoise bay, but too far to walk down an unattractive road to Sechelt itself. It also has a pleasant outdoor seating area overlooking Porpoise Bay, which is a plus since there are no other facilities at this motel. A few hundred metres from the motel is a small marsh with a trail around it, which is well worth a visit.

Disliked:Although advertised as a hotel, this is a motel with no facilities other than the rooms and an outdoor seating area. The "garden" rooms overlook a parking lot. If at all possible, avoid the ground level "garden" rooms because there is zero privacy, the view is very unappealing, and therefore you will need to keep the blinds fully closed the entire time. if you can get a second floor room on the "garden" side I expect that you can see over the parking area and see trees on the other side of the road. Air conditioner was also noisy.
