Pros definitely outweigh the cons. Would recommend and would go back

Liked:Neat property. Loved the vibe and history. The bar was cool and cozy.

Disliked:TV service was iffy - in and out. Room smaller than i anticipated. No coffee service available in the lobby until well after scheduled time of 8 am. Door knob was problematic

Liked:The staff was very kind and attentive

Disliked:The room which was supposed to be one of the best and quite expensive, was facing the street and very noisy and not very clean. We asked to move and they gave us a very nice room in the back that was quiet and nice.

Liked:The hotel was charming, with convenient parking and a very comfortable bed. I especially loved the beautiful flowerbeds and the historic character throughout—the antiques, stained glass, and original woodwork were definite highlights.

Disliked:A little more proactive engagement from staff would have made an already enjoyable stay even better. Simple touches—such as pointing out the earplugs provided for road noise, the fan for overnight comfort, dining and bar options, outdoor garden seating, and nearby breakfast recommendations—would help guests make the most of their stay. The bathroom lighting was quite dim and made makeup application difficult, and I would recommend improved lighting on the stairs for safety, particularly at night.
