Another Great Stay

Liked:We have stayed at River Street Inn several times over the years, and this visit was just as good as the rest. It was easy to park and check in. The rooms are clean and had all that we needed. The Manager's Reception each night is always fun and a pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is great. It is right along the Savannah River and just about everything in the historic district is an easy walk. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within minutes. We enjoyed our stay very much and it felt good to come back to our room each evening and relax after a day of walking and experiencing the city. The checkout process was quick and easy. We will definitely continue staying at River Street Inn anytime we are in Savannah.

Wonderful stay!

Liked:PROS: Wonderful location; EXTREMELY courteous, helpful, and friendly staff (especially Cassandra); room clean and comfy; great Manager's Happy Hour! Really interesting building. CONS: Not really a "con," but when we got into the room we noticed that the toilet wasn't flushing and that we couldn't reset the safe - both issues were remedied immediately. Also, being on the third floor, we could really hear the folks in the room above us walking around, but maybe that's one of the quirks of being in an old building. I'd definitely recommend The River Street Inn and hope to visit again!
