Great Welcome, Clean, Quiet

Liked:I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel's location was also excellent, with convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Hospitality or Supervised Release? You Decide.

Liked:Thought I booked a hotel. Turns out I booked supervised release. Checked into Hyatt Regency Santa Clara and within minutes was handed a printed notice informing guests that even if they request privacy / Do Not Disturb, hotel staff may still enter the room every 24 hours “for your well-being.” Nothing says “premium hospitality experience” quite like feeling you’re under supervised monitoring the second you arrive. I understand hotels have safety policies, but the wording and delivery of this felt dystopian, invasive, and wildly out of touch with what guests expect when paying for privacy and comfort. “Do Not Disturb” apparently now means: “We’ll disturb you tomorrow instead.” Checking out tomorrow.
