Fantastic hotel, exceptional food and facilities, and overall a brilliant stay.

Liked:This is exactly what I look for in an all-inclusive holiday. The hotel is fantastic and really has everything you could want. It’s a great adults-only hotel with excellent facilities during the day, and the rooftop bar is a particularly nice touch. The food is exceptional for an all-inclusive. No matter what time you’re eating, the quality is consistently brilliant, with plenty of choice and everything we had was absolutely superb. The reception staff are also really helpful and friendly, which makes a big difference. Overall, it’s a really, really great hotel and one I’d happily return to.

Disliked:The only real negative during our stay was the change to the drinks package and, more importantly, the way this was handled by some of the bar staff. When we stayed in 2024, there was one all-inclusive package and you had access to all of the cocktails on the menu. It appears the hotel has now introduced two different levels, with the standard package offering basic cocktails and a higher-level package giving access to the more premium cocktails. I have no issue with that in principle, and I would have happily paid extra for the better drinks, but I don't feel this was made particularly clear when booking through Booking.com. Unfortunately, we had an experience where one of our friends, who had the higher-level package, ordered an Old Fashioned and gave it to us. The reaction from the bar staff was completely disproportionate. We were followed and watched, and were essentially treated as though we were deliberately trying to abuse the system, despite this being a single cocktail and an obvious misunderstanding. The attitude was incredibly rude and, given the otherwise excellent standards of the hotel, it left us feeling quite victimised over one drink. I completely understand that the hotel needs to make sure people don't abuse the different drinks packages. However, this could have been handled much more professionally. A simple explanation that the drink wasn't included in our package and a request not to do it again would have been perfectly reasonable. I would still happily return to the hotel because everything else was excellent, but I do think the bar staff need to improve the way they handle situations like this. I also think the different drinks packages should be made much clearer at the point of booking. Had I known about the different levels, I would have happily paid the additional cost for access to the full cocktail menu.

Just not as good as what I remembered.

Liked:The food was excellent as always. The pool music was also excellent

Disliked:Considering we had been traveling all night the receptionist was not welcoming. We stayed last year and had a fantastic time. This year the rules have changed and a lot of the drinks I had last year, were now not on the standard AI package.

Liked:This hotel is beautiful and our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast had a lot of choice which was lovely.

Disliked:Our shower room flooded every time we showered - the drain clearly needs unblocking. I also noticed mould in the bathroom which isn't really acceptable for a 5 start hotel, I'd expect it from a 3 star perhaps. Our room felt very clean but the cleanliness of the corridor was questionable - looked like it needed a good hoover to be honest. I'm not usually one to moan but for a five star hotel, you expect the very best and unfortunately that wasn't my perspective on this trip.

Disappointed

Liked:Breakfast was lovely as was the pools

Disliked:On check-in we were told little information, nothing about the WIFI, restaurants or towel cards. We had to come back down from our room to find out the WIFI, we tried to book a restaurant only to be told they were all booked out throughout our stay. We were never told prior to checkin via email or on check in. We only got to eat at the buffet throughout our stay which is ok but disappointing when you pay a premium we didn't get to eat the restaurants included in the price. On the first morning we went to the towel hut to get a towel for the sun lounger only to be told we had to go back to reception and queue to get a towel card. We weren't told about this on check-in and why are they not provided we had wristbands.
