Liked:The room was a great size and the breakfast was delicious

Disliked:The tub would not drain during a shower. Every time we showered we had dirty water to our ankles. A "fire alarm" went off at 0400 when there wasn't an emergency and it didn't shut off until close to 0500. This was a huge inconvenience, it woke my whole family up and we could not go back to sleep.

A comfortable, pet-friendly stay in a good location that made my exam trip smooth and stress-free.

Liked:I stayed for 4 nights at Residence Inn San Diego North/San Marcos and had a really good experience overall. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was very important for me, and the location was perfect since it was close to my licensure exam site. I especially appreciated how quiet and comfortable the room was—I was able to sleep well and truly relax during a stressful time, which made a big difference. Everything felt convenient and hassle-free throughout my stay. The only small detail is that housekeeping didn’t clean the room during the 4 nights. I’m not sure if it was because of the sign indicating that there was a pet inside, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely consider coming back.
