Best day truly couldn’t have done any better!!

Liked:I’ve spent many nights in hotels around the world, and my recent stay at King George Hotel truly stood out. The staff were exceptional—consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food was outstanding, and every interaction reflected a high standard of hospitality. With over 100 hotel nights a year, I don’t say this lightly: this was an amazing experience. I’ll absolutely be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Historic Hotel adjacent to the Hilton Conference Center

Liked:I will begin by saying that I would happily stay at the King George Hotel again. I would especially recommend the hotel to people attending a conference at the Union Square Hilton Conference Center. The location is both fortunate and unfortunate. It is in the edge of the Tenderloin District, so wandering a block in the wrong direction can be unpleasant; one encounters people who are behaving as if they have severe mental problems or are taking dangerous drugs. Walking toward the Embarcadero or Fisherman's Wharf takes one through beautiful San Francisco neighborhoods. And the Convention Center is next door. I made use of the lobby in the King George Hotel to discuss projects with colleagues. The people that I met with volunteered that they enjoyed meeting there and that the space was very pleasant. The hotel staff was very considerate while we met. The staff overall were extremely pleasant and helpful. I didn't take note of names, but the gentleman and ladies who are at the front desk in the evenings were especially helpful. The hotel requires some cosmetic repairs. The elevators walls are worn and some of the buttons don't light when pressed. It is used for both guests and maintenance. I stayed in a twin room that was small. I was provided with a coffee maker and a small refrigerator when I asked. The hotel was constructed in 1914 and has a nice historic feel. I am sure that I enjoyed staying there more than I would have enjoyed staying at the conference hotel, which is just like all conference hotels.

Terrific bargain close to theatres with great staff.

Liked:The location of the Jing George couldn't be better for theatre at ACT. It’s also very close to Union Square. The staff members are top notch: warm, gracious , and helpful. Amazingly good price for downtown San Francisco. Yes, small room but comfortable. Good breakfast of pastries although lacking juice.
