Clean, friendly, safe, and close to shops and bars.

Liked:Very clean and neat, friendly staff and so close to restaurants and bars.

Disliked:I’d give it a 10 but my AC remote batteries were dead, so I had to sleep with it on all night the first night, and they did not refill the coffee in the kitchen one day until much later after breakfast time.

Overall, we weren't too happy with the place and won't be staying here the next time we visit San Diego.

Liked:The location was great.

Disliked:1. The room and bathroom were so much smaller than expected. The management has used camera magic to make the room and bathroom appear larger than life in the photos. The bathroom especially was extremely small and extremely uncomfortable. 2. There was no electricity in one section of the room, and the lights in that part weren't working. Even though I complained the first day, they did not take any action. I had to report it again the next day and they fixed it on the third day. 3. There was no service from house keeping any of the 3 days we were there. We had to ask for fresh towels from the front desk. It felt less like a hotel and more like a dormitory. However the price did not match a dorm's price. I feel like I was overcharged given the services. 4. Minor but I had to pay $25 per day for parking. I wasn't aware of this before booking the room.

Wouldn’t recommend it if people are accept expecting a nice hotel a nice hotel room. If you’re gonna be in and out of yo

Liked:The location was perfect for us. We had friends in Mission Hills and also friends in Northpark. We really enjoyed the coffee shop next-door.

Disliked:The room was very small. The water pressure in the sink and shower were very low. Wall sconce seemed loose and ready to fall. Parking was very cramped and very difficult to park in and really hard to get out of your car and get back into your car without hitting a door. When we received the request to pay for parking, $25 a day, the request asked if we wanted to tip. That really didn’t make any sense to us.
