Our stay exceeded expectations

Liked:My fiancée and I were in La Jolla for 4 nights and had originally planned to split our stay between La Valencia and another hotel. After just half a day, we made the easy decision to cancel the other reservation and extend our time here. It wasn’t a hard call! Front desk was wonderful throughout the process and was even able to keep us in the same room for the full stay, which was a great touch. Pool staff were terrific, personable, attentive, and consistent from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Perfect Hotel

Liked:Everything about La Valencia is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. I had my wedding here and Bobby and his team made sure that everything was perfect and the staff was remarkable. The rooms are charming, clean and give you that southern California luxury experience. Being directly in La Jolla cove is magical and you can hear the waves from your room and all different parts of the hotel. I cannot wait to come back and stay at the hotel. It is such a special place with so much history, charm and beauty.

May 2026 Wedding at La Valencia

Liked:We just had our wedding at La Valencia on May 9th 2026 and everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we met Bobby, we knew this was the place for us! He is such a professional and also the funniest and most personable. We knew he had to be part of our special day. From then we had Dani who was lovely and very organized!!! My family and my new in laws have spent a lot of time at the pool over the last year as they traveled in to plan our special day and let me tell you, Mike at the pool is the absolute best!!! He is so great and accommodating and always has an amazing attitude. Thank you La Valencia for the most perfect wedding venue we could have ever dreamed of with the most amazing staff to make it run so smoothly!
