Avoid

Liked:Good location.
Disliked:This was not a good experience. From the beginning the staff were disinterested and seemed unable to help with the most simple of questions or requests. No-one to help with luggage so it was a case of carrying two 23kg up two flights of stairs. The room was dirty, with large dust deposits throughout the cupboard. Wifi did not work in the room, we reported this but nothing was done. Room smelt of drains and whilst this was sorted after the first night, it re-emerged. “Mosquito net” is a drape and is not protecting you from anything. Breakfast was not good. Not labelled, told food was vegetarian but contained ham. Food seemed old. No-one present in dining room to monitor need for replenishment. We checked out a night early. They did not ask us why.

several problems (water, wifi, access) made the stay very uncomfortable. super friendly staff

Liked:the tiles and the friendly staff
Disliked:knew parking would be tricky in the area, so we called ahead to ask about it. the hotel told us to drive up to the door and drop our bags off, but when we arrived the street was blocked off by police for the entire day/night. We had to circle the neighborhood for almost an hour to find a place where we could park temporarily, and talk all our bags .5km uphill. when we got to the hotel the water was off in our room. an hour later it came back but there was no hot water. someone came by the room around 10pm to fix that. when it was fixed we took a shower and the drain was clogged and water started to pool in the bathroom almost immediately. someone else came by around 11pm to fix that. We had first arrived at the hotel at 8pm and it was around midnight by the time we had got out stuff inside and taken a shower. the interent did not work in our room. it connected, but it only got 1 our of 3 bars, and kicked us off after a minute or two of not really working. when we came back to the room after walking around, the power in the room kept going out, 3 or 4 times, and I tried to reach someone on staff but no one responded to my messages until the next morning. The bed felt very unstable and the slightest motion made it wobble a lot. we had such a late and uncomfortable night we asked if we could have some more time to sleep in and pack our things the next morning and they said that they had other guests coming who needed the room.
